Yoga (योग) is an Indian spiritual path aimed at achieving the union with the Supreme Consciousness.
As Human Beings, we have the natural capacity for self awareness. In order to make good use of this capacity, we must become mindful of what is happening within our own body-mind - our sensations, feelings, thoughts ..as well as our interaction with the world particularly other beings.
Each class works towards strengthening your mind body connection by linking breath with a series of dynamic postures. On route to the main goal the practice will bring about weight-loss, will tone and strengthen the body and give an overall feeling of balance and wellbeing.
It is a class that fully integrates the body, mind and spirit, a class that while strengthening your body you will calm and quiet your mind. A fitness routine based on aesthetics feeds your ego, not your spirit!

Welcome to 2012...
Yogis ... Can you believe it another year has almost passed and I (and surely not the only one) still have not fully implemented my last New Years resolutions!! But like yoga its all about "setting the intention" ...... So with the intention heres to fulfilling them in the coming year.....!

Yoga in URBUN will now be every Wednesday at 7pm so come and try out the fab venue
Baby Yoga & Massage will continue every Thursday 19th January in Foxrock Parish Hall at the usual time of 11.15. Spaces are limited so call or email to book your spot. Its €90 for 5 class card or €20 drop in.
According to Patanjali .... " Yoga is a preventative healing art, science & philosophy, by which we build up robust health in body & mind ......"
So at any time do come back to your mat, or if you have never been on a mat let your 2012 resolution be to get on a mat. Regular practice of Yoga really does help the body & mind move with ease through the year.
